2011 has been an incredible year for us … we’ve been blessed to get to photograph weddings & couples across the world and the U.S. Our clients have been incredible and it’s been such a wonderful year that it’s a bit sad to see it come to a close. We were able to get our work featured on a handful of wedding blogs as well as many wedding publications. And this year we met one of our professional goals … to see our work featured in a national magazine which was very exciting! When we think back on 2011, we will definitely remember how amazing it was and how many incredible memories we will walk away with. We hope you enjoy looking at a few of our favorite images from this year!

We had a wonderful time photographing James and Jamie’s engagement session this fall. They are such a laid-back, sweet couple and we had a blast just hanging out with them and taking some beautiful images. Their lovely wedding will be taking place here in Grand Rapids next spring and we can’t wait! Enjoy.

We are taking a vacation!!! woohoo!!!! After 6 months of some of the hardest work in our career, we are taking a much needed vacation to Cabo! We can’t wait to disconnect (as much as we are able to!) and just relax and be together and do nothing! ahhh! We’ll be out of the office starting November 28th until December 6th. During this time we will have limited email access so please understand if we are a little delayed in getting back to you! Cheers!

Happy Thanksgiving! We love the Holiday’s around here … time off from work, lots of laughing with our families, and some killer food. We can’t wait to take a few days off and be away from the craziness of life and just chill and be thankful for the blessings that we have!

Shane and Anne are awesome and we had a blast photographing their engagement session in their hometown of San Fransisco. We started off in Land’s End (not the store, the park!) and the fog was rolling in which created such an amazing atmosphere. The trees in this park are so incredible … we wish we had them in Michigan as we could have shot there all day long! After spending some time in the park, we then headed down to the Embarcadero for the rest of the session. Shane and Anne are big “foodies” so it was a perfect match to hit up the farmers market that was happening that morning along the bay. We loved getting to know these two more and are really excited for their wedding next summer. Enjoy.
